Many people consider In-N-Out burger to be the Holy Grail of burgers and that is largely due to their (not so) secret menu. Animal style, anyone?
But many other restaurants have some amazing secret menu items that I guarantee you’ve never heard of. We’ve compiled a list of some of the most impressive secret combinations out there today.
Check them out…
1. Animal Fries – In-N-Out Burger
Hold on to your arteries and say hello to Animal-Style fries.
While there are only a few things on the menu at In-N-Out Burger (hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries, and drinks), the secret menu is where it’s at. A less well known item on the secret menu is Animal Fries. This amazing concoction consists of fries topped with a mass of melty cheese, grilled onions, and a heart-stopping ladle of Thousand Island dressing. What are you waiting for? Order some!
2. The Quesarito – Chipotle
The popularity of the monstrous Quesarito is due to the fact that it is a burrito in which the “shell” of the burrito is actually a cheese quesadilla. That’s right, instead of using a plain flour tortilla like the unfortunate soul next to you, the Chipotle servers will start your Quesarito off with a quesadilla they make from sandwiching a heaping amount of cheese between two tortilla shells and heating it in the warmer while you wait. The Cheese Quesadilla is then used as the tortilla shell for a Burrito that is loaded with Rice, Beans, Meat, and any Salsa.
And since extra tortillas and extra cheese are free at Chipotle, you’ll only be charged the price of a regular burrito! Without a doubt, eating the Chipotle Quesarito is a life changer.
3. The Patty Melt – Five Guys
This one is simple, just ask for a Grilled Cheese Sandwich and then ask them to add a Hamburger Patty (or two) inside. At Five Guys, however, you can get as many free toppings as you would like on your “Patty Melt.” The most popular additions are grilled mushrooms and grilled onions.
Best of all, this amazing concoction costs about the same as their burger…$3.49 for the Grilled Cheese plus $1.80 per additional Hamburger Patty.
4. Mc10:35 – McDonald’s
The Mc10:35 is a special sandwich that can only be ordered for 10 minutes each morning, during the changeover from McDonald’s breakfast menu to it’s standard menu at 10:35 a.m. There are two versions of this famed sandwich, one which uses a hamburger bun and one using an English muffin. It’s a toss-up as to which one you will receive.
5. Raspberry Cheesecake Frappuccino – Starbucks
Here’s dessert in a cup! Try your white chocolate mocha Frappuccino with some raspberry syrup for a decadent treat!
We recommend 1 pumps for a tall, 1.5 pumps for a grande and 2 pumps for a venti! If you prefer your drinks extra sweet, increase by 1/2 pump for each size.
Don’t forget the whipped cream!
6. Frings – Burger King
“Frings” are a dream come true for the indecisive Burger King eater. Ordering Frings will get you a mix of fries and onion rings instead of one or the other.
While they’re not on the menu, they do have their own unique package.
