Ask any cat owner what the worst thing is about owning a cat, and 9 times out of 10 they will tell you it’s cleaning out the litter box. THAT SMELL can sometimes take over the entire house. Well, the owner of a cat named Tesla decided to do something about it. He shared his story on Reddit, and we’re sharing it with you. Here goes…
At first, Tesla didn’t know what to make of the lasagna tray full of pine chips…
So his owners moved the litter box by the toilet and added some of his “product” to the pan…
Tesla started to get curious…
And quickly figured out what he was supposed to do…
Over 2 weeks, the owners cut bigger and bigger holes in the center of the pan until it was gone (the litter they used is flushable).
Now Mommy and Daddy don’t buy litter, and nobody can tell a cat lives there. Their home is odor free!
When Tesla isn’t using the restroom like a human, he enjoys nature hikes…

And after all that learning, pooping, exploring, and watching TV, Tesla likes to curl up with his good friend…
There you have it, a potty trained cat! According to his owner, he did fall in a time or two the first week but now uses the toilet like a champ. Now if he can just figure out how to flush, we’d be set.
