Okay, here’s the story. A guy loses a bet and owes his friend a $15 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card. He thinks he lost unfairly but being a man of his word, he’ll still pay up. But don’t think the story ends there. Instead of simply paying off his losses he takes elaborite steps to “secure” the gift card and make his friend work for his winnings.
And lucky for us, he documented the whole process in pictures. Here’s what he did…
Step 1: Lock card in a tricky mind puzzle…
Step 2: Cover in 5 alternating layers of plastic wrap and Gorilla Glue…
Step 3: Cover in many layers of awesome Mustachio Duct Tape…
Step 4: Knot entire package in 200 feet of string, then place inside Gladware container and Gorilla Glue closed…
Step 5: Tape around Gladware container and place inside a lock box along with an awesome picture of yourself mocking the intended recipient…
Step 6: Lock said box, wrap with a bike lock, and lock bike lock with a padlock…
Step 7: Place lock box key and padlock key in individual pieces of crumpled notebook paper. Place lock box, keys, and 55 other “decoy” pieces of paper into a large container…
Step 8: Use 15 feet of chain, combination lock, and a banana to Houdini the entire thing closed…
Step 9: Include a Sudoku puzzle that needs to be solved in order to obtain the combination to the combination lock…
Step 10: Tape it all up in a large box and you’re ready to go (banana for scale)…
There you have it. If that’s not the way to lose but still end up feeling like the winner, I don’t know what is!
